The idea and concept of bringing an all natural and organic line came when Laurent Benig, creator and owner of Laurent Cosmetics saw a demand for something different in the market. It was undeniable that what is currently being consumed in the market right now consists of expensive and rare brands that you can get only outside of the country.

“I instantly saw a gap– a need for something inexpensive yet original. What’s being sold in the market right now are highly expensive brands, or if you want to settle for something cheap, those are imitations and knock- offs which are highly hazardous” says Laurent of the current market trend.

Thus, Laurent Cosmetics was born. In a span of two weeks, the fast-rising brand become a talk of the town. She started marketing the product to her friends, and at the same time asking them to post testimonials and product reviews on their respective social media accounts. Networking was the key. The tiny tidbits of reviews from her first crop of clients built a base to create hype among potential buyers. Suddenly, Laurent saw her inbox clogged with inquiries and orders. In short, the product was an instant hit.
